Description of Significance THE ESKRIDGE HOTEL IN WYNNEWOOD IS A THREE-STORY COMMERCIAL STYLE HOTEL CONSIDERED DURING EARLY STATEHOOD DAYS AS THE "FINEST HOTEL BETWEEN KANSAS CITY AND DALLAS." THE BUILDING RETAINS A HIGH DEGREE OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR INTEGRITY EVEN THOUGH IT CLOSED TO BUSINESS IN 1970. IN 1973, THE BUILDING WAS PURCHASED BY THE WYNNEWOOD HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND CONVERTED INTO THE ESKRIDGE HOTEL MUSEUM. LISTED IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER 10/3/79.
